Assalamualaikum! for week 1, we discussed detailed about topic al quran as the book of guidance and related subtopic in i. As a muslim, this topic

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN QURAN AND OTHER PREVIOUS BOOK

When one divinely revealed Book was corrupted another was sent until eventually, Allah sent the Quran. The difference between Quran and the previous Books was that Allah chose to protect it Himself rather than entrusting it to His slaves. This is why the Quran remains unchanged to this day word for word and it has been preserved from corruption.

From quran we can learn about:

1.sign of creators

The signs of God’s existence and creation are in many things, especially on planet Earth and the whole universe all are signs of God.

Surat An-Naĥl 16 : 65

And God sent down water from the sky, and by it, He gives life to the earth after its death. Indeed, there is in this a sign [of God’s power and knowledge] for the people who hear

2. Arguments of the Oneness of God

We sent no Messenger before you without revealing to him, "There is no god but Me, so worship Me (alone)" (Al-Anbiya 21:25).

The Oneness of Allah, known as tawhid, is the first and paramount constituent of the Islamic concept, as it is the fundamental truth of the Islamic faith. It is also one of the chief characteristics of the Islamic concept because, among all the belief systems and philosophies currently prevailing among human beings, only the Islamic faith can be characterized as having a pure form of monotheism. This is why we have included “The Oneness of Allah" as one of the characteristics of the Islamic concept.

3. The story of prophet

The stories of the Prophets in the Quran offer timeless lessons that are applicable to our modern challenges. From the repentance of Adam to the perseverance of Nuh, the faith of Ibrahim, the leadership of Musa, and the mercy experienced by Yunus, these narratives guide us in our spiritual journey.

4.Seerah

The study of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is known as seerah. This subject covers his day to day life, interactions with Companions and family, his role as a leader, as well as his characteristics and mannerisms.

Why Quran serve as important guide to mankind:

the first thing is to

UNDERSTANDING THE CREATOR;

by studying the quran it helps the person to understand their relationship with Allah, that are the creator and sustainer of the universe.

DEFINING THEIR RESPONSIBILITY;

in quranic ayah tells us about responsibility not only one towards allah but also to his creation. The responsibility including upholding justice, showing mercy, being truthful, and striving to improve oneself and society

ACCOUNTABILITY:

every action they perform has its consequences and that they will be held responsible for their deeds in the Hereafter (Surah Al-Zalzalah 99:7-8).

So for the part of critical thinking in islam

HOW DOES QURAN TREAT THE CURRENT PROBLEM FACED BY YOUTHS ?

1. Quran helps youths overcome stress in daily lives by ensuring that every hardship is a test by Allah SWT and there is a silver lining in every test.

2. Quran helps youths to differentiate between halal and haram such as the prohibition of alcohol and zina in life.

Assalamualaikum this week (week 2) we discussed about 3 pillars of faith. 1) Belief in Allah

Muslim need to believe in Tawhid, which asserts that there is one God, Allah, the exclusive creator, sustainer, and ruler of the universe. This monotheism belief influences all facets of a Muslim's faith and practice, highlighting that no other entity shares Allah's divine nature, authority, or attributes.

2) Belief in Angels

Angels are composed of light, which allows them to remain unseen by humans in their typical state. However, they can occasionally manifest in physical form, such as when the angel Gabriel appeared as a human. Angels are incapable of sinning or disobeying God, and they perform their responsibilities with complete obedience.

3) Belief in Books

The divine books serves as divine guidance for humanity, with each revealed book intended to instruct individuals on living in accordance with God's desires. They encompass various elements, including technology, ethics, social conduct, and legal issues. This spiritual scripture is viewed as a divine revelation that provides instruction on proper worship, justice, and leading an authentic life.

Assalammualaikum, for week 4 we disscused about believing in prophet, hereafter and qada and qadar.

1) Believe in prophet

We believe in messengers and prophets. Without them, we wouldn’t know about God, angels, or things we can’t see. Messengers teach us how to live our lives. They show us how to be good people.

The Prophet Muhammad was very grateful to God. He prayed so much that his feet swelled. He said, “Why shouldn’t I be grateful?” He also repented a lot. He was a very good person.

We should be kind to others and make things easier for them. The best people are those who are good and kind. We should be balanced in everything we do. We shouldn’t be too extreme.

We need to be passionate about our worship and facing difficulties. We shouldn’t be proud or arrogant. We should be responsible and do good things. We should always be kind and helpful

2) Believe in hereafter

We believe in the afterlife, where this world will end and we will be judged. We believe that God will judge us based on our actions in this life. Good deeds will be rewarded, while bad deeds will be punished.

We believe in the Day of Judgment, when all people will be gathered together. Our actions will be recorded and presented to God. Those who have done good will go to heaven, while those who have done evil will go to hell.

Believing in the afterlife helps us to fear God and do good. It also helps us to be patient in this life, knowing that the challenges we face here are nothing compared to what may come in the afterlife.

3) Believe in qada and qadar

We believe in God’s plan and will for our lives. Everything that happens, good or bad, is part of God’s plan. He has already decided what will happen to us, and we should accept His will.

God knows everything that will happen to us. He has written our destiny in a book called the Preserved Tablet. Nothing can happen without God’s permission. We should trust in God and believe that He knows what is best for us.

Assalamualaikum and hello! For today's usrah session Br Farez shared with us about the concept "IHSAN".

Muhsin is the best version of a muslim man/woman could be in this world. For someone to be a Muhsin, they need to possess the quality of Ihsan first.

According to the Quran, there are 3 characteristics of al-Muhsin :

Doing good to others

Doing good to others at the highest possible level, to the best of one's ability.

Doing both of the above for the sake of Allah SWT.

Application of "IHSAN" in daily life

For instance, if you're a student, you will dedicate most of your time to study in the most efficient way possible and not waste time. The most important part is that you do it all for the sake of Allah SWT and not for praises from others or grades. Besides that, a man with ihsan will perform ibadah like he can see Allah SWT. But if he cannot, he believes that Allah SWT can see him.

Today is our last day for usrah 106!. Today's task is to do a group presentation about the concept of ikhsan.

My friend, Hazwan and Hassan present about hadith Jibril and elaborate more about application in daily life of ikhsan in daily life. As for my part, i discuss about characteristic of ikhsan. As for our conclusion, Ihsan is highest level of imaan someone could have in this dunya. By becoming a muhsin, we could increase the quality of our ibadah and become the best possible version of ourselves. Therefore, every Muslim should aim to be the best version of themselves so they can feel the pleasure of all their ibadah. That's all from our group.

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ و جزاك الله خيرا
