Gus Grissom was from Mitchell, IN and was one of the seven Mercury astronauts. He also was the second American in space. Students will get to learn about Gus and his adventure to space, taste space food and even get to see a space capsule. It would cost $1 per student. The Pioneer Village, Gus Grissom Memorial, and Nature Center are all included into that $1. Students would be asked to bring a sacked lunch and or have the cafeteria create sacked lunches for the students to take and charge their normal lunch fee. We could also use https://www.mos.org/museum-online. On this website the students will be able to research about the natural environment and the affects humans have on it.
