It is believed he is opening up his imagination to start understanding fundamental world realities. Ages 3,4 and 5 in a preschool setting would enjoy this book. It would be great to introduce how things work in the world. The children will develop a curiosity for new topics.

Throughout the book, a tiny mouse is best friends with a crazy rabbit. The mouse had a brand new airplane toy, and the rabbit got it stuck in a tree. The rabbit makes many animals mad in trying to get it down from the tree. Therefore the mouse is left to explain. The children may relate to the story if they have ever played with someone older than them. The illustrations make it easy for the 3,4, and 5-year-olds to understand what the book conveys. This is great for introducing imaginative play in the classroom. The way the author uses the personification of animals will get the children to want to learn more. Getting into the higher level of kindergarten and first grade, those students will be able to increase their attention span and find humor with reading. This is an excellent skill because, in the classroom, it is necessary to fulfill the enjoyment of reading.

As the story continues, his life story is about him becoming famous for his images of snowflakes. The age group that could benefit best is the 10-12 category. Increased cognitive skills are also used while still interacting with imagination. It gives the students a challenge to tackle a story with a mix of science and literature.

While this family lives in the house, they experience many situations from fun to complex but manage to get through. On the day the lighthouse gets a self-operated light, they get to leave. Although the family says goodbye, it is not always a sad time. The final picture is the family shining their light from their house to the lighthouse. This describes how to look back and reflect on the things that made a meaningful impact on their lives. Early elementary students would use this book to continue the development and expansion of standard language.

Throughout the story, the readers find out the mom and boy have a neighbor they do not like, but in the end, they come together. This shows the students always to get along because it is unsure when they might need each other. From all ages of first through fourth, the teachers can meet many standards by teaching this book.

The pictures illustrate authentic life images of how animals look in the real world. The students will meet the standard of learning fast-moving and exciting stories that can lead to actual events.
