The 54th Massachusetts Infantry was formed after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
July 17,1863
The 54th Regiment was setting up camp on the beach across the channel from Fort Wagner so they could try to take over Fort Wagner the next day.

July 20,1863
The 54th regiment didn't take over Fort Wagner.

6. She wrote down information and digrams and put her in her shoes.
7. She came across a dyeing solider and the solider gave her a gold watch to give to the commanding solider.
8. She found out the confederate army was going to ambush the union army when they came in.
9. She found a old farm house and she hid in it and over the night there was a war going on outside of it so all night she heard guns shot and cannons.
