MANDATORY -- 1st year -- Why do you want to be a nurse? When did you decide you wanted to be a nurse? Did anyone or anything influence your decision?

I didn't actually choose it. it's life that led me to be. I grew up in the baby Jesus and received so much love and care in here. Precisely this brought out from me the will and desire to take care of others in any possible way, as long as it is as direct as possible. The experience that really changed me was the one in which, a few years ago I broke my arm following a bad road accident and right here at the baby Jesus they gave me back my total health and healing. Thanks to the skill of the surgeons, nurses and all the medical staff. This is why I decided to carry out my duties with children. because I believe they are pure creatures and I would do anything to make them feel better. This isn't a job, it's a mission.

PATCH ADAMS:

After attempting suicide, Patch Adams voluntarily surrenders to a psychiatric clinic. In here he realizes the lack of humanity and attention that is paid to patients. So, once discharged, they decide to resume their studies and enroll in medicine, to give voice to their desire to help others.
After various vicissitudes and hardships and a possibility of expulsion, he presents himself before the commission; explaining his point of view on how to take care of the patient from every point of view: physical and psychological.
This will lead him to have total approval and respect from those present.
So he decides to open a free clinic with which to allow anyone to obtain treatment of any kind. The only thing, given that in America health care is paid.
After some time, however, a colleague of his was killed by a boy with psychiatric disorders and he found himself again in a terrible mental state that led him to think about closing the clinic and almost committing suicide again. But just at that moment, a butterfly (favorite animal of his killed colleague) landed on his doctor's bag and on his heart, making him understand that the important thing was to complete his mission of love for others.

covid has been a bad parenthesis in our lives.
Not so much for the lockdown, because I think we had the chance to come together a bit and support each other to go through that difficult period.
The hardest thing was hearing the news and having to realize the nightmare that hospitals were experiencing with their patients. People who left alone, without seeing or hearing anyone but only holding the hand of a nurse or doctor.
All of this was appeased with the arrival of the vaccine which, thanks to the incessant work of the researchers, has helped us and practically freed us from this terrible story.
