I was born in Atlanta, GA and moved to Los Angeles soon after, as my father received a job in California working as an architect for Disneyland. He was eventually transferred to Orlando to help design rides at Disney World. I spend the majority of my life in Orlando and still consider it my home.

I attended Freedom High School in Orlando where I competed in Cross County, Track, Soccer and Flag Football. Upon graduation, I received both a bachelors and masters in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). While at UCF, I played rugby, which is probably the coolest thing about me. I have been teaching at Citrus High School since 2010.

I am married with two children. I've known my husband since I was 13 and he was my best friend growing up. We got married in 2011. My children, Bradley (10) and Olivia (8) attend IPS and you'll probably see them around campus before and after school.

I enjoy movies, reading, puzzles, sports and video games. My favorite gaming series is the Legend of Zelda. The Baltimore Ravens are my NFL team.
