We use it as a source of entertainment and a way to connect with friends or family

We don't share anything publicly but we do send stuff on the platforms privately

Mostly family and friends

4. What are the dangers of sharing too much information?
Mean people might try to hack the program and steal our personal information and might try to hunt you down

5. How would you feel if you were not able to use social media?
We would feel quite unconnected with some family, friends or the world

We use social media. Linda thinks it to talk to other people, Beth thinks it's to share different types of media to other people and to connect with them, Linda agrees. Linda likes to post photos of her cat and Beth doesn't have a cat. Beth shares pictures. Linda talks to her close friends and her cat. Beth talks to her friends and people. Linda feels detached when she's not able to use social media. Beth feels very sad without social media. Linda and Beth agree that social media can get out of hand.

We use messaging platforms the most like snapchat to talk to friends that we have inside and outside of school

The dangers are that people that you don't want to know about you can find out about you. The internet can also find out a lot about you and use targeted advertising. Things that you want to share when you're younger can come back and affect you negatively in later life when employers do internet searches on you.

1.I share Happy Birthday messages and pictures of other people.
I would feel a bit isolated from the world and everyone else if there was no social media.
The dangers of sharing too much information are people finding out where you live.

4. Maybe a bit left out FOMO however, it would be a good break from the screen.
5. People can get to know your personal details and use this to get to you , even complete strangers.
