The Cleopatra Gate is at the entrance of Tarsus. The city walls built during the Byzantine Period had Mountain Gate, Adana Gate and Sea Gate. While describing Tarsus in his Evliya Çelebi Travel Book, he named the name of the pier door for this gate. Horasan mortar was used in the construction of the door. The edge of the gate is in the shape of a horseshoe, and the height from the ground is 6.17 m and the depth is 6.18 meters. Until the end of the 18th century, Tarsus' pretty strong three-door city walls were demolished by Egyptian İbrahim Pasha in 1835, and only one arch sea gate remained on two legs.

In Narlıkuyu, known as Porto Calamie during the Roman Empire, IV. There is a small building ruin from the 19th century. This building is a bath and baptistery built by Poimenios of Korykos (Kızkalesi), who was understood to be the governor of the islands of Istanbul in the 4th century. The water of the bath is groundwater coming from the paradise.
The floor mosaic of the bath with high artistic value is well preserved. Zeus girls Aglaia, Euphrosyne and Thalia, also known as the three dates of Paradise in the mosaic, are seen naked dancing between doves and partridges. For this reason, the local people named the mosaic as the mosaic of three beauties.

The mythological story depicted has been known since the time of Homer. Later, the castle was saved by the Turks when the Turks established sovereignty in Anatolia with the Seljuk State and then the Ottoman State. Although there is no building belonging to the Seljuk period in the castle, there are masjids and cisterns built by the Ottoman Sultan Second Beyazit Khan. However, these were falsified.

Evliya Çelebi's book titled Seyahatname contains information about Silifke Castle. In the work, it is written that the castle consists of 23 bastions and there are about 60 households. The castle structure drawn by Evliya Çelebi has not reached today. Today, only about 10 of the 23 signs were able to stand. There are some remains for cisterns, masjids and households. Evliya Çelebi also mentions cellars and water rooms close to cellars. These structures coincided with the present day. There are cellar and water rooms 5 meters below the castle.

This cave, which is mentioned in the Qur'an in the Qur'an, is considered sacred by Muslims and Christians. You can go down to the cave with 15-20 stairs. A legend belonging to the Eshab-ı Kehf Cave is told among the people; "In the times when belief in mythological gods lost power, seven young men named Yemliha, Mekseline, Mislina, Mernuş, Sazenuş, Tebernuş and Kefeştetayuş, who fled to torment because they believed in one God, were brought to the presence of the Greek Monarch Dakyanus.
This ruler gave them a few days' time, saying that they adhere to the religion of the paganism, otherwise they will kill them. Together with their dog Kıtmir, these seven young people escaped, taking advantage of the time given to escape death, and took refuge in this cave. They were given 300 years of sleep by Allah. The first one who wakes up goes to the city to buy food, but is caught because of the money he has had. The captor asks where he found the money and be taken there. He says that he is not alone, and that he is in the cave with his seven friends. When he came to the cave with him, he saw nothing but a nest perched by seven baby birds. For this reason, this place is also known as the Cave of Seven Sleepers. The cave is 300 m2 in size and 10 m in height. There are 3 tunnels inside the cave. A mosque was built in 1873 by the Ottoman Sultan Abdulaziz next to the Eshab-ı Kehf Cave.
