What is activism? Activism is "the policy or action of using vigorous campaigning to bring about social or political". This definition means that someone takes action to make a change of something that's political or social. Mwangi documented the violence as a photographer. He took pictures of all the corruption that was happening in his country. He fought for changing the violence. He is a activist because he's warning his country about all the corruption around them, he's standing up for his country to become more safer and healthier.
                                            -JESSICA,MYKAILAH,GAVISH,DEJ
what.what.what.what.what.what.what.what.what.what :(

The Black Power Movement was a non-violent movement that started in the late 60's to the mid 70's. But, in the 1960's they stopped believing in peaceful protests. Its key activist was Robert Hamill, who was unfortunately killed in 1969. One of the most famous symbols of the black power movement was a raised black fist. Other organizations, such as the Black Panther Party made it more modernized by having more fighting and arguing. Its goals were to make america better for blacks and coloured people.
Sydney, Shane, Alisha, Brianna whats ur problem
