b. what? Mike Trout is finalizing a deal with his team The Angels a 12-year contract that is worth $430 million. The deal is the largest for any player in professional sports history.
c. how? There was rumors of Mike trout being traded or moving to a new team due to the fact of another Baseball player Bryce Harper getting paid $330 million dollars and sparked Mike Trout to want to get paid the same mount. The Los Angeles Angels never had any intention of letting Mike Trout hit free agency following the 2020 season, and so they both agreed to a no opt-out massive contract.
