Today, there are 810 students at this school, and they are divided into 34 classes . There are 79 employees, out of which 61 belong to the teaching staff. The headmaster of the school is Obrenka Krasić, a history teacher. All the teachers have the Bachelor's degrees; many of them are quite young and have a Master and a PhD degrees and then there are those who are still on graduate studies. 
There are 23 classrooms, a computer room, a huge congress hall and a basketball and a handball courts. The school is equipped with some hi tech gadgets. The teachers are aiming towards modern education which must also be of high quality. The teachers develop team  work, free thinking and creativity among the students. The teachers organize free time activities and the students are prepared for lots of competitions. Also, lots of competitions are organized at school by the teachers. The school offers numerous courses and after-school activities to its students. With lots of pride we can say that our students win prizes at various competitions every year and a few of them end up at state competitions. We pay special attention to the future job orientation as well as to the 
security of our students. We have a good cooperation with kindergartens - the aim is to introduce our teachers and school to the future students.The school has a long tradition. It is an institution which contributes to the overall development of a person. It is the temple of knowledge, culture and sport. 
 The external evaluation inspectors visited our school in April 2017 and the school got 4, the highest grade that a school can get. They emphasized that we are the school that should be looked up to. 

My pupils are 9 and 10 years old and they are 4th grade this year. They like eTwinning a lot and they are happy because they win National Label of Quality for the  last year project we were working on with our eTwinning friends from Slovakia-  teacher Lubica and her pupils. We are looking forward to meet a new friends and to learn something new about our Slovakia friends on this project.
