Adélies are sea ice obligate birds, meaning they can only exist where sea ice is present. If your lunch is packaged in non-reusable materials it will cause waste, and therefore energy will be consumed to recycle it or dispose of it. If you use reusable containers you will lower the amount of energy consumption. Excessive energy consumption leads to global warming and therefore spread of disease through mosquitos.
