The MOOC I participated in was a Coursera course. I selected the Using Canva to Create Desktop and Mobile-Friendly Web Pages. I selected this course because I really enjoy using Canva! I use it for school, work, and personal projects. However, I was unaware that you could also build websites through Canva! While creating my portfolio, I thought, why not give it a try to learn more about the Canva website builder?

In this course, I learned how to Design a webpage using Canva's template. The course showed how to design a webpage for a desktop and mobile version. I really enjoyed how Coursea offered various ways to access the course. I could use the side-by-side view or stay on the same page. The course offered videos, readings, and quizzes, which made it interactive. The course was easy to navigate, and I also liked how it was self-paced. I can now use Canva to create a website!

MOOC Based Learning offers flexibility! Most MOOCs are self-paced, which offers the flexibility of learning and accessing information. Some courses are also free, which is a bonus to learning in this format. Plus, it offers learning through a different modality rather than traditional learning.
