If Snapchat can’t monetize that, that’s criminal.”

SPECIFIC SPOKESPERSON (S): (not just teachers or famous people - list 2 specific)

NUMBER #1 Lebron James

NUMBER #2 Serena Williams

3.) TARGET AUDIENCE
My main target audience is students that want to improve their grades. Idealy age 14-22 because this is when students are in high school, or college and need the most help with studying. Gender nor does demographic matter for my app. The app would also be free so all you would need is a smartphone.

4.) APP BRAND AWARENESS: (what do people already know about your app)?

People know that Study Buddy is the only app that combines social media with education. Everyone should know that the average student only spends 17 hours a week studying, but 10 hours a day on there phone. If students would transfer some of the time they spend on there phone studying with friends on Study Buddy their grades are going to improve.

5.) EXPLAIN YOUR STRATEGY TO INCREASE WHAT YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR APP (convincing tactics for your audience to purchase it):

-- HOW WILL YOU INCREASE THEIR BRAND AWARENESS: (Snapchat example below)

STRATEGY 1: how many times do you forget about a assignment and have nowhere to turn to to ask a question? Study Buddy completely destroys this problem with the interactive class calendar. The class calendar is so much help because it's connected with 5 other students in your class who also share and post on this calendar. If you forget an assignment you can go straight to the calendar where one of your 5 other classmates has posted about the assignment and when it is due.

STRATEGY 2: Do you ever forget about a quiz and wish you had time to meet up and study with a classmate? No worries! Study Buddy's study feature allows you to connect with 1 of 5 classmates to study flashcards on your phone, and play interactive quiz games to spice things up a bit. This feature allows students to get good studying time in wherever, and whenever.

SPECIFIC SPOKESPERSON (S): (not just teachers or famous people - list 2 specific)

NUMBER #1
Oprah Winfrey is my first spokesperson. I choose Oprah because she is a very trusted and reliable person. Also, even though Oprah is worth millions, she attended Tennessee State University and knows how much college can be. She will encourage people to use my app as a way to get free money to pay for their college.

NUMBER #2
Bill Gates is my second spokesperson. I decided to use Bill Gates because he is the co-founder of Microsoft. Although Gates dropped out of Harvard, he too is familiar with the high prices of tuition. He will encourage people to find an internship that deals with their interests, so one day they will be as rich as he is.

3.) TARGET AUDIENCE (SPECIFIC AGE / GENDER / CAREER / SOCIO-ECO STATUS)

My target audience are teenagers/young adults in high school and students in college. College students tend to vary in age, but this app can benefit all of them. This app will help both males and females, and it does not matter what economic class you are in. Individuals that belong to the low or medium economic class are more than likely going to use this app. People from higher classes might not have to worry about how they will pay for college.

4.) APP BRAND AWARENESS: (what do people already know about your app)?

People should know that my app can find them scholarship and internship opportunities. They should also know that my app is designed to make the transition to college easier and more organized because you will have all of the information in one place. Furthermore, my app allows students to find a college that best suits their needs, desires, price range, etc. Lastly, my app will send reminders to their phone when the deadline for FASFA and shorlapship applications is approaching.

STRATEGY 1:
Social Media- I will have a website, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, so customers can ask questions about my app. Having these social media sites will increase the talk about my app because they will be able to communicate directly with me. In addition, consumers can tag the profile to my app in posts or tweets and it will increase the amount of people seeing my product. Furthermore, I will have my spokespersons post my app website and social media profiles on theirs to gaurentee my app will be talked about.

STRATEGY 2:

Partner with companies- I plan on partnering with businesses that have to deal with school. For instance, I would try to partner with places like Staples, Walmart, and Office Depot because they sell school supplies. Furthermore, I would try to partner with FASFA because my app has a FASFA feature. My app and FASFA would both benefit from the partnership because more people would remember to apply for FASFA and my app will be seen as a tool to help students remember to apply.

SPECIFIC SPOKESPERSON (S): (not just teachers or famous people - list 2 specific)

NUMBER #1
Angelina Jolie

NUMBER #2
Demi Lovato

3.) TARGET AUDIENCE (SPECIFIC AGE / GENDER / CAREER / SOCIO-ECO STATUS)
My target audience ranges from young children to adolescents, roughly ages 8-18. My app also applies to their parents. I have focused on children who are picky eaters, children who have eating disorders, children with diabetes, and children who are obese or underweight. Gender does not matter.

4.) APP BRAND AWARENESS: (what do people already know about your app)?
It is known that children and teens in America are becoming less healthy and obese rates are rising. It is also known that kids spend an increasing number of hours on their phones daily. One reason for increasing rates of obesity is the fact that Americans eat unhealthy foods and do not get enough physical activity. By creating an app that teaches kids nutrition from a young age, the hope is that they will change the future.

STRATEGY 1:
One catchy feature of my app is the chat room. There is a chat room for kids and a separate one for parents. The parents chat room is useful because parents can share recipes that they have found or have received from their pediatricians in order to help the other parents. They can share any information that they would like.

STRATEGY 2:
Another feature is the logging page. This page of the app allows parents to log in what types of foods and activities their child likes and doesn't like. The app gives you suggestions for foods that kids with similar interests have enjoyed. This allows the kids to try new things but also gives them a chance to message kids with similar interests as them.

APP BRAND AWARENESS: (what do people already know about your app)?

People know that my app helps to manage money and is very unique. College BudgIT gives daily budgeting tips, alerts when funds are low and at the end of each month if the student has funds left over the student must deposit it into a savings account, donate it to a charity or put it toward student loans. This app is also linked to the students’ bank account and debit card. College BudgIT is user-friendly, informative and reliable.

5.) EXPLAIN YOUR STRATEGY TO INCREASE WHAT YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR APP (convincing tactics for your audience to purchase it):

HOW WILL YOU INCREASE THEIR BRAND AWARENESS: (Snapchat example below)

STRATEGY 1: Social Media- My target audience are people who are heavy social media users (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). On these sites they discuss their lives, including their purchases and items they like. This will help spread the word about College BudgIT to other college students in hopes of increasing my brand name.

STRATEGY 2: Partner with other brands- I can partner with a well-known brand to college students or even a bank (since the app is linked to the student’s bank account); like Wells Fargo which will give me some of their image and reputation. Also most college students have a bank account with Wells Fargo because they’re nationwide so partnering with them would be a good boast to my app’s name. Wells Fargo is a reliable bank so people will link that with College BudgIT.
