Sadie would love to try ice hockey. Shes been playing field hockey and is interested in trying something new but feels familiar but with a twist. Sadie's dream is to play for New Zealand Blacksticks. It's her goal and she is determined to make it happen one day. Sadie prefers late nights over early mornings because Shes not does not like the feeling of waking up but with late nights she gets to have fun. And enjoy herself without the rush in the morning. 

Sadie is looking forward to her 16 birthdays so she can be able to get her license and drive wherever she likes. As for the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to her, when she was just 7 years old, she somehow managed to fall out of her car while it was in park. It’s hard to believe, but it happened. To make things even crazier, she ended up breaking her collarbone in the process. It’s definitely one of those moments that still makes her laugh but it was pretty shocking at the time. 

Kasey was born on the 24 of September on 2011, only five days younger than me. She was born in Central Hong Kong to two loving parents. She later moved to New Zealand when she was 7 and has been here ever since. Her friends describe her has a smart, kind, funny girl.

Kasey and I have a lot in common, we both have older sisters in year 11 and their birthdays are both in October how funny is that.

Kasey wants to learn how to play volleyball because she thinks it’s a cool sport. One thing I didn’t know she could do was that she can play the piano.

Kasey prefers late nights over early mornings because she can never wake up in the morning, honestly same. Her perfect weekend is relaxing, eating food and going shopping. Kasey’s go-to artist is Olivia Rodrigo, her all-time Favorite album is SOUR.

Kasey would like to learn how to cook better, but if she could only eat one food for the rest of her life, I think it would be Raman. One of Kasey’s current obsessions is Tik Tok and block blast. Kasey does not like any sort of bugs or being alone.

 She is really looking forward to going to Japan, she can’t wait to see cherry blossom trees and going in to all the cool shops.

Yuchun’s top 3 songs are number one no women no cry, number two love stary and finally number three I don’t know. I don’t know was a surprising song name for her and I. Her hobby are reading, she loves reading and mostly her favourite book shi ri Zhong yan – 7. Yuchun prefers late nights so she can read books.

Yuchun’s dream job is to be a doctor or a writer. Her dream hobby is to play guitar but she doesn’t play because her sister plays and she has no time for the long practises. Yuchun’s dream place to travel to is Canada and Japan because she really wants to visit and she’s never been before. She is currently at St Mary’s College and she is excited to see what high school brings on

As a mainly introverted girls, Olivia keeps close to herself. Her favourite thing to do when she had a free afternoon is watch a show, leaning heavily on soft and heart-warming movies and TV series. She would love to go to Japan or Korea one day, as she is fascinated by the respective cultures that both countries embody.

Olivia loves early mornings; she loves to feel like she’s alone and no one’s watching her. She feels free when everyone is still deep asleep. Olivia would choose pasta if she had to decide to eat one dish every day for the rest of her life. She’s a big fan of Olivia Rodrigo and Mitski, often including these two artists in her typical playlist or go-to music.

Moving on, we reached a certain part where Olivia told me about how an old man offered her drugs when she was nine. She talked about how she refused him and returned to her parents.

We were nearing the end of our interview, I have learnt a lot about Olivia through this conversation, I hope that she continues to thrive and do well in St Mary’s.

Charlotte likes playing video games, her current favorite games are Genshin impact and ROBLOX. She plays video games after school when she has a free evening or on weekends when she has nothing to do. Charlotte also likes listening to pop music when she is bored or is doing work. 

A funny story Charlotte told me is when she was younger, she jumped off her couch and accidently chipped a bone in her toe. Ouch! 

As well as that, Charlotte is eager to try out photography as she likes taking photos of beautiful views and anything aesthetically pleasing. And if she enjoys it, she would love to do it as a professional job. 

Charlotte's dream vacay would be to visit the beautiful Italy, go sightseeing and experience the famous Italian food and take photos of it all making sure not to miss a single beautiful moment. 

Charlotte is a chill, kind and hard-working person who is a great friend and classmate and is always willing to help others as much as she can. 

Overall, Charlotte is an awesome person, a great classmate, friend, and a fun opportunity to interview!

I was assigned to interview Riyana and I’m going to tell you a bit about her. Riyana is seen by her buddies as sweet, quiet, and when in the right environment loud. In free afternoons she enjoys going to the park and hanging out with friends. A secret talent Riyana can do is twisting her arms because there double jointed. Most people have hobby’s they want to persuade, and Riyana has always wanted to start painting and doing art but can’t because its extra messy.

Riyana’s dream job is to make art for streets and buildings which means being a street artist or architect. Riyana says a perfect weekend is forgetting everything and having fun. A crazy but funny experience Riyana had was when she was eating a feijoa and there was a massive worm crawling out.

Riyana was born in the Philippians and then moved to NZ. A random encounter with a famous person was when Riyana met the president of the Philippians. In the school year Riyana is looking forward to playing tennis.

“Quiet early mornings are much better than late nights,” Millie said it was because everyone was still asleep so there was no one up to bother her. On the bus Millie loves to listen to music, she doesn’t have a favourite genre of music, so she normally listens to Spotify mixes. One of Millie dreams is that she is a well-known architect. When asked if she's ever experienced something weird, Millie responded that one time she saw someone eat pizza dipped in yogurt!!

People normally mistake Millie to be a lot older than what she looks. Her biggest fear is that she’s very afraid of heights. Millie is looking forward to athletics day and when one day she can spend a weekend in London, while it’s snowing, cuddled up by a fire drinking a hot coco and reading her favourite book.

When it comes to hobbies Millie enjoys sailing and playing a good game of netball, she would love to be able to play water polo but she’s too busy so she can’t. Millie is interested in people who can train seals so if one day she could watch a zookeeper train their seals she would be over the moon. Thank you for reading about Millie Harford.

Holly sees herself as a tall person ad her friends see her as funny, weird and kind. Holly says if she could swap lives with any fictional character for a day it would be Georgie Cooper from Young Sheldon. Holly says that her weird hidden talent is that she can swim really well, also she secretly hates uggs and thinks they’re really overrated.

When Holly has a free afternoon she likes to spend it by calling her friends, she also has never gone ice skating but would love to try it. In year 6 Holly made the Taj Mahal out of paper, I think that’s really creative! Holly also told me that she would love to visit NYC.

When I asked Holly weather she preferred early mornings or late nights she said early mornings because she doesn’t like staying up late. Hollys perfect weekend looks like heaps of sleepovers and I bet you that they would be eating sashimi because that’s what Holly wants to eat for the rest of her life as well as listening to Lofi music.

Hollys dream job is to start her own business and if she could spend a day learning from an expert she said it would be how to improve skiing.

Holly told me when I asked about the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to her she said that she almost got a chair thrown at her. Holly has never met a celebrity which was surprising to me.

Hollys current obsession is Young Sheldon that would explain why she would want to be Georgie Cooper for a whole day. Hollys favourite quote is “Pretend your being paid to be at school and you will work harder.”

One thing that people usually misunderstand about Holly is that people assume that she is good at sports because she is tall which I think would be annoying. Holly is also looking forward to moving out and owning a house of her own when she is older.

Hi my names Sadie and I interviewed Petricia about herself. I got to know lots of new thing about her, Like the words her friends would use to describe her with and they think she’s annoying, funny and amazing. She loves the trendy drink bottles and going to the beach in her free time.

One of her dreams is to travel the world and her favourite piece of advice is to go for it! She definitely has some unique storeys where she happens to cut her finger off and break her hand by falling off the bed. She also wants to learn how to fly a plane yet her biggest fear is heights.

Petricia likes late nights rather than early mornings because she can’t seem to fall asleep. Her absolute favourite food is pizza. Petricia cannot wait to start going to Uni already because she can’t wait to start meeting new people.

Her dream job is to take care of pandas. By taking them on a cruise to Greece. Greece is one of her dream destinations because of the beautiful beaches and yummy food. Pandas are also Liana’s favorite animal because they are so cute and cuddly and sadly going extinct. She is super scared of spiders. Apart from her love of pandas and fear of spiders another animal she loves is Guinea pigs. Because she had two growing up. Unfortunately, they passed away 2 years ago.

On a spare afternoon she likes to spend time with friends, going shopping, eating sushi since its her favourite or even visiting her old school. She is the type of person that prefers relaxing late nights winding down on her phone over early mornings. This year she wants to learn the trumpet and continue one playing netball.

She has always been wanting to try a new sport which is Tackle rugby but she never has and the reason is because she has been afraid of it as she’s scared that she might get injured and doesn’t think of getting tackled to play a sport would be enjoyable, which I completely understand, some people really enjoy playing it and that is good for them but Kiara has been too nervous.

Well Kiara loves to wake up early and the reason is because she likes to get up early and then go and watch the early sunrise down her road!     Then that weekend she really enjoys going and watching some rugby games for the weekend!    If Kiara had one last food that she could eat every day for the rest of her life she would eat what is called Ota Ita which is a mango drink with shredded fruit!  A dream job that Kiara has always wanted to be is a famous netball star that represents a country!    If Kiara could spend a whole day learning something new from an expert, she told me that she would learn how to be very flexible! 

Her favourite things to do as a hobby or during the afternoons is to do cooking or go on her phone on social apps like TikTok, any types of food pastas are one of her favourite meals.

Hobbies she wanted to look forward to and wanting to try is hocky but hadn’t got the chance yet, but that’s okay. She loves her cat really much that she made something out of cardboard box for it as its one of her proud projects, how cute! or when a silly scene where she fell while riding on her bike.

Sailor’s goal is to be a lawyer when she grows up for the future as her dream job and is more like a late-night person other than early mornings since waking up early isn’t the best feeling, but other than that, a perfect week for Sailor is getting to hang out and spend time with her friends during the weekends.

Emily would spend her free time by playing Roblox and her perfect weekend would be spending time with friends while shopping. She prefers late night over early morning since getting out of bed is a very hard time for her. A place that she has never visited before and want to go is Hawaii because she loves the beach. Emily’s to go playlist is GUTS, and it is also by her favorite artist Olivia Rodrigo.

Some weirdest that happened to her was when she got followed by some people once when she was coming home by herself after she had McDonalds and her most creative project that she has work on would be when she made a glow in the dark fish and also won an award. Emily is looking forward to her holidays now and getting to hangout with her friends again.

Evelyn’s dream job or goal that she has is that she wants to own her own beauty business. She also would like to run her own pod cast but she is not sure what and yet to figure out. If she could spend a day learning something from an expert it would be from a beauty model so that she could learn all their tips and tricks of make-up.

Do you have a go-to music for the moods that you are feeling? Evelyn does. If Evelyn is feeling happy then she will listen to happy cheerful music or if she is feeling calm, she will listen to calming music. It really depends on the moods that she is feeling.

How many concerts have you been to? When Evelyn went to a Pink concert she saw Pink. Well obviously, because it was her concert. But there was a totally random encounter with her the next day! When Evelyn went to the beach she saw Pink there. Isn’t that totally crazy!? Have you ever seen a celebrity or famous person? One thing people usually misunderstand about Evelyn is that she is younger that she looks.

The weirdest thing that has ever happened to her is that when she was in her room her closet door mysteriously opened by itself?! Was it the wind? Evelyn admits that all her windows were shut and that there was no air conditioning on to push the door open! Was it a ghost?! Have you ever felt like something moves or falls randomly?

If your life were a movie, what would you most ridiculous scene be? Evelyn said that her most ridiculous scene would be falling down the stairs in front of everyone. That would have been embarrassing!

When she's not out with friends, she enjoys spending hours shopping and staying active on her latest passions. She loves trying out new fashion trends and finding unique pieces to add to her wardrobe. One of her recent projects focused on raising awareness about cyberbullying. She's very passionate about this because and wants to help create a safer online community for everyone. Jess believes that by spreading awareness and kindness, we can make a real difference.

Jess is also a night owl, often staying up late to enjoy her hobbies or just relaxing. She loves watching movies and listening to music. Jess finds that the nighttime is when she can relax and be herself. If she had to pick one food to eat for the rest of her life, sushi would be her go to choice. She loves the combination of flavors and textures, and she's always on the lookout for new sushi restaurants to try.

Despite her fearless personality, she has a few things that scare her which are sharks, spiders, and snakes, and she'll do just about anything to avoid them. But aside from these fears, Jess is a strong and adventurous person who is always up for a challenge!

Jess' friends said they would describe her as funny, loud and a yapper. Jess said on her free afternoon she would go shopping with friends. She is proud of her cyberbullying project last year her most fun place she has been is gold coast and she wants to go to south korea

One thing most people misunderstand about Jess is they take things the wrong way. Jess is afraid of sharks, spiders and snakes but is excited for her water polo tournament next week.

Nadia hates peanut butter due to the texture it provides, ‘disgusting’ as she describes it. Broccoli and celery is no different either, she says its bitter and has a cardboard like taste.Nadia hates spiders as they are creepy and scare her quite abit.

As she loves the beach she also would like to learn how to surf when she gets the chance! Smoothies and pasta is her favourtie to eat when shes needs a refeshment or something that can fill her up! Chicken is also something yummy she likes but she is very scared of them! Once she was with her friend in a farm and a chicken started chasing them and they both ran screaming!

Maja likes to stay up at night reading and watching the rookie. If she got to meet an expert she would want to learn about math or art from them.

A hobby Maja wants to try would be photography, but she doesn’t yet know what job she wants to pursue. During summer she likes to stay home and listen to a summer playlist or binge watch Netflix.

She prefers early mornings over late nights because if not she feels disgusting. Her perfect weekend involves having no class and spending time with her friends, and that’s all. The most fun and unexpected place she has visited or desires to visit is Cyprus.

The most creative project she has worked on and is proud of is a Windmill. If she had to eat one meal every day for the rest of her life, it would be sandwiches. Her favourite thing to do when she has a free afternoon is drawing or using her phone.

A trend she loves is Converse shoes and a typical playlist or go-to music for different moods is Lufey.

Lillian comes from Inner Mongolia, a beautiful region in northern China known for its vast grasslands and unique culture. She is a person who values her personal space and enjoys spending time alone. While some people may think she is too quiet, Lillian finds solace in quiet moments, where she can reflect and recharge her mind.

One of her dreams is to visit Sanya, a tropical paradise located in southern China. She is drawn to its serene beaches and warm weather.

Lillian has a deep love for music, Music brings a sense of calm to her, and she often spends time listening to her favorite tracks in her quiet moments.

In addition to her love for music, Lillian also has a passion for tennis.

Elizabeth said that if she could use three songs to describe herself, she would choose Blank Space, Dark horse and Love Story. She also said that if she could be any fictional character for a day she would choose Max from the secret lives of pets because she could laze around all day and not have to do any school work.

Some of Elizabeth’s favourite artists are Taylor Swift and Mined, her father’s band, with her favourite song being Loveless by Mined.

Elizabeth wants to learn how to sew, she already has basic skills with sewing, having made a small fabric bag that she uses regularly.

 Evie’s favorite quote is ‘Only act smart if you’re stupid’. As you can tell she is a ‘funny’ person, but her friends would rather call her athletic, smart and actually a bit crazy.  

Her personality makes her a social butterfly in sports she admires like water polo and hockey. Besides her sports, some other hobbies she enjoys is going to Zaria’s pool, sleeping, watching TV and of course eating her favorite foods lasagna, Macccas and lollies. 

As you can see Evie likes a lot of stuff but like all of us there is some stuff she HATES. For instance, like most people in this class she despises early mornings, having to get up and go to school. The next fact may shock some people, but she doesn’t like the Stanley Cup hype. For the future Evie’s dream job is a police officer and she really wants to travel to Greece one day.
