For Passport: Please remove the age requirement of when the student was in foster care. If they return to their family of origin before the age threshold, they should still benefit! The need is still there, especially since most (if not all) families impacted by foster care are low-income. Once they return to their family, it's not like every interpersonal and financial problem was resolved. Impacts from foster care are life long, the support should be as well. If the state removed the child from care, they should be invested in their success long-term - even after reunification.

Expanded funding ($12K/year over two years for awardees is the goal) for the Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) - Supporting three students per legislative district who are in a focused career and technical education (CTE) program in HS or professional technical pathway in the CTCs.
