When creating my magazine, I made sure that I added 70+ best British songs of all time so that it engages the audience. Throughout my magazine, I have followed the same colour scheme of pink, black, white, and purple. I have chosen these colours as they are very feminine which would appeal to my target audience. The background of my models shoot also has the same colour scheme as the magazine so that everything flows together. Retail shops that relate to my magazine are shops such as misguided, urban outfitters, forever 21 etc. These shops are where the style of my model is inspired by. It’s also places where I see my target audience shop. My target audience don’t really go for muted colours but more uplifting, feminine colours.

I also feel that my audience are into girly, empowering movies such as mean girls. These programmes and films are classified as girly films so this means my audience would find it interesting. Overall, my target audience follow quite mainstream pop, so therefore when I create my magazine; I must make sure that I follow most magazine conventions as this will make the product successful as it’s appealing towards the audience.
