Apple iphone 12 14%
Applw iphone 12 pro 6%
Apple iphone 12 mini 5%
Samsung galaxy a21 3%
-and that’s by model, there’s probably more % of people using older version of iphone like 8, X and 11

Currently those who uses japanese branded phones (flipphone version) are probably only elderly people. (No source, just observation)

However, in a case like Apple, an American company which offshores its production still considers their products American made (though they put made in xxx, designed in California) 
We think the same applies to Japanese made products
And in the case that foreign engineers design and create a product, if it was in a Japanese company it would still be considered Japanese made.
