Tier vocabulary is what builds the students vocabulary for their whole life and is important for every subject in school.

The reason I think this is because one of my resources helps me with how to introduce role playing into the classroom, like a fake election, for my students to be able to get a better understanding. The other resource that I have I chose because it gives me different strategies on how I can support my students while they are learning social studies. Support for eb/el students is important and having some extra tips on how to do so is never a bad idea.

I chose the first resource because it can give teachers some information on how to identify if your ESL student might be special education. It gives information on how to know and some factors that you need to consider when the students are being tested for special education services. I chose the second resource because it can give some background information on who ELL's with special needs are. It gives a definition along with programs and services that could be considered for your sped ELL.

I chose to include the first resource because it provides sample questions that you can use that your child could potentially be asked while taking the NNAT. It also gives a break down of the different sections that will be included on the NNAT so the parents have a better understanding of the test. I chose to include the second resource because it provides information on how to identify if your ELL student is gifted and how to support them.
