My Nana has walked every year since this walk started in memory and honor of her sister (my Great-Aunt Mel). But then in 2015, my Nana was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. She has been a warrior—through all of the chemo and now immunotherapy she’s kept her head held high and her attitude positive. I’m so proud of her. We’ve walked the past 5 years together and it’s a blessing and miracle she’s still with us. I’ve walked by her side and learned so much. She is an inspiration to all. I love you my Nana! You remind us that our Spirit is much more powerful than any condition or limitation we can ever face! Our Spirits are eternal and never perish!! 💜🙏💜
