-Takes away from the real issues and causes of why Africa is in that current state. For example everybody is forgetting the fact African's have to payback Western countries and was colonised by them causing many of their issues 

-Often only allows for short term problems to be helped. As people are doing what makes them look good rather then realising that they need to put more emphasis on the governments to fix the issue in the long term

A good quote I found to support this is "There is room for genuine help, but self-aggrandising selfie-takers are not welcome".
