Directions: Your group is responsible for making a post in which you must: 1. tell me how any two of the poems we've read are similar in tone, mood, theme or symbolism. 2. Find evidence from each text that proves those similarities. 3. Explain how that evidence supports your claim that the poems are similar

DNGGITGN and The Second coming are alike bc they both symbolise death in a way. In the poem DNGGITGN line 3 says "Rage, rage against the dying of the light." and in poem The Second Coming in line 5 it says "The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere else." The first quote saying "dying light" and that is basically saying the light is dying, its gonna shut out. In the second quote it has to do with blood and most deaths have to do with blood.

They both have a sad tone and both talk about death in some way.
2) The poem Do Not Go Gentle into the Good Night "And learn, too late, they grieve it on its way" and the second coming says "And what rough beast, its hour come round at last"
3) These poems are talking about peoples monsters and how people deal with different situations.
