I told someone "shut up" and was contemplating whether or not it was justified. they were being loud so i guess a "be quite" would have sufficed but would it have gotten the point across? i ended up coming to the conclusion of yes it was justified but not completely as the violent words "shut up" weren't as they sparked a flame that was unnecessary, and saying "be quite" wouldn't have been effective. i decided that just staying silent and putting up with it was best. Its better to just have them be caught by the teacher than argue with people who don't care. a small price for a lesson.
