Mrs Bartley even told us a few story about our amazing history of this wonderful country we live in today. It has been great and we have learnt so much things like the 7 continents or the 5 oceans, even the compass points! 

We have been mostly learning about the climate zones in this country, there are 5 zones, equatorial,  subtropical, tropical, grassland, desert and temperate. They are the climate zones that makes our country sunny or windy or even full of snow!

 In Australia we have very few equatorial and subtropical zones and a lot of desert in the middle of our beautiful country. Tasmania has only a temperate zone in their little state and most of Western Australia is desert. It is amazing that Australia has so many wonderful zones and temperatures in this small continent. When we were talking about states we had an Atlas in front of as looking at the key points. in the Atlas and looking at the states and territories in the Atlas. so then we had a work sheet in front of as and we had to name the capital cities of each state.

In Geography we have been naming territories like Northern territory and states like south Australia, Queensland, new south wales, Western Australia and Tasmania and been learning about their capital cities too. We have also learnt that there is a Australian map that the Indigenous Aboriginals made that has all of the little  tribes.
