         <description><![CDATA[<div>Well-matched PS - Success with supporting students to complete a financial aid form.&nbsp; Ability to access close to real time completion data is a big support for that. Not nearly as clean to gain access to application data. Really only the students themselves know.&nbsp;<br><br>Similar challenge - how to track progress without constant one on ones with students.<br><br>Granularity of change ideas, comparable measures across change ideas (weighing the pros and cons), consolidating change ideas, updating Driver Diagram/Theory of Improvement, resistance around abandoning/adapting change ideas (what level of change is an adaptation vs when should you just abandon and maybe create a change idea)<br><br>How did we define success in the first place, and how does that align with how students define that for themselves?&nbsp;<br><br>I also think its hard to quantify unquantifiable things such as smiles, fun, laughter. But those formulas are needed for a safe and welcoming environment (CRSE tree) so how and what does that look like if we try to quantify and measure that?<br><br>Measuring progress in terms of language development is a challenge in itself<br><br>The usage of state measures is an known, imperfect measure because we don’t have an assessment that is specific for our target population.<br><br>How to help school teams understand the fundamental ideas they are testing in addition to the routines<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some change ideas we've done for Grading: Eliminating zeros, lowest grade is 50%. 1-4 grading scale;&nbsp;<br><br>not grading hw or participation.<br><br>Gradebook reviews.<br><br>Allowing retakes of assessments and revisions of homework to improve grades are also PDSA-able. Some of our schools have tested pullout models for that, while others have had teams of teachers work on embedding those practices into classroom routines.</div>]]></description>
