Students at MIT have created what they call the most waterproof material from lessons by nature. The material is ‘super hydrophobic’, or extremely water-resistant. The inspiration for the material coating comes from wings or leaves. It uses ridges to move the water of the material. This information is helpful because it uses things from nature that are waterproof to create something waterproof.
