Other major cases of cops shooting, beating, or killing black teens in America in the last few years include Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, and Cameron Tillman because of their innocence. This has become a real racial issue in the US because most if not all the teens targeted were and are African American while most of the cops who allegedly beat them were white. Tensions growing have led to prominent figures in the black community calling for justice, often using the phrase, "Black Lives Matter." Multiple protests from both sides have created pressure between both political parties and races, specifically black and white people. The perceived power relationships between white and black people is biased on the white side. Most cases always fall on the offending - white's side.
