         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>&nbsp;She was separated from her father right away in the camp but stayed with her mother until the summer of 1942. She then was deported to the ashultes camp where she lied to survive. Her family connected again and got sent to the Mauthausen concentration camp. When they arrived the gas chambers had been destroyed one day before they arrived. Her uncle had her diary which gave a lot of information once he found her again he returned it to her.  She ended up giving  it to a museum.</strong></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Helga Weiss was born in Prague in 1929. Her father Otto was employed in the state bank in Prague and her mother Irena was a dressmaker. Of the 15,000 children brought to Terezín and later deported to Auschwitz, only 100 survived the Holocaust. Helga was one of them.  She has two children, three grandchildren and lives to this day  where she was born.</p>]]></description>
