We see this a lot in our program and it is so hard to teach any type of material at a 5th or 4th grade level (or any level for that matter) if the student does not know how to read.

Reacted strongly to this because everywhere we go we are exposed to poor literacy skills, portraying situation, providing direction/instructions that affect the outcome of some of our own actions.
