Next, I asked AI to include speech bubbles (Comic 2). It did this, but it didn't explain the steps of DNA replication.

Next, I attached a google image that has the steps of DNA replication and had it use this to create the next comic. (Comic 3). This was good, but it was very high level words.

Next, I asked it to lower the reading level of the comic (Comic 4). This was good but some things were mispelled and it got cut off at the bottom.

Next, I asked it to make a better fitting comic, and remove the 9th grade. HOWEVER, copilot said I was out of images, so I took the request and the image of the comic to chat gpt. I uploaded the comic image and told it to make some similar but with my parameters. It did (comic 5)

I know that primase is mispelled as primass, but I find it really funny, so I want to keep it and see if any students notice, and it can lead to a conversation on AI mistakes

I was anticipating issues, but surprisingly the first version of this game was very smooth (Original Game). The questions were challenging, the controls worked, and it was a good review. The only thing is it didn't require students to know the order of each step in DNA replication.

Next, I asked Claude to edit the game to include a feature where students provide the correct order of the enzymes. Claude created a nice minigame to play before the actual choose-your-own adventure. (Game 2). However, the drag and drop controls didn't work.

Next, I asked Claude to fix the drag and drop controls. It did, and the game functioned almost perfectly (Game 3). However, I noticed that all 4 enzymes were already in the correct order and just needed to be dragged straight across, so it wasn't really a challenge.

Lastly, I asked Claude to change the order of the four available enzymes. It did (Game 4), but it just put them backwards, which is not very challenging.

I got specific and told Claude, "scramble them so that primase is first, then ligase, then helicase, then polymerase". He did. (Game 5) is the best version.

Copilot did make a downloadable powerpoint, which I was able to upload to nearpod, but it did not include images and gifs, so I had to do that manually. I appreciated being able to spend time on nearpod adding different elements to my powerpoint such as the 3D, the discussion board, the matching game, and the review game at the end.
