2. In general, it is a proposal to replace or alter a law or a bill an amendment is usually processed or treated in the same way as the document that it intends to modify.
3. They should grant equal rights to enslaved people, and the right to vote for people of all races.

R:  a minor change or addition designed to improve a text, piece of legislation, etc.
3) WHAT DID YOU LEARN OUT OF THE AMENDMENT IN THIS UNIT?
R: I learned that the discrimination of color is bad that we are all equal and that we have to learn to respect each other.
