         <title>Virginia ceded first land casino license to Hard Rock

         <description><![CDATA[<p> After a comprehensive review of the application materials and extensive background checks and a 7-0 vote, the Virginia Lottery Board today issued a facility operator license to operate Virginia's first casino in Hard Rock Bristol.</p><p>"Since its enactment by the 2020 General Assembly, the Board's priority on casino gaming in the Commonwealth has been to proceed in a sincere and responsible manner," said Ferhan Hamid, the president of the board. "Today's approval reflects our confidence in the rigorous and conscientious review conducted by Virginia Lottery employees."</p><p><br/></p><p>"Virginia Lottery has been working hard for two years to create an appropriate regulatory structure for casino games," added Kelly Tee, executive director. "I take pride in the tireless work of our gaming compliance department and legal counsel, who carried out the investigative work needed to help the committee make its decision. While there are still many steps to the finish line, there is no doubt that these are exciting times."</p><p><br/></p><p>Lotto's Gaming Compliance Division will continue to work closely with Hard Rock Bristol as it prepares to open a temporary facility on the former Bristol Mall site in early July.</p><p><br/></p><p>"We will monitor the receipt of gaming equipment at casinos over the coming months, review internal controls, and ensure compliance is fully followed," said Gina M. Smith, Virginia Lottery Vice President of Gaming Compliance.</p><p>Also today, the board voted to amend the rules to include casinos in the voluntary exclusion program run by the Virginia Lottery.   <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.slotmachinesite.com/"> 슬롯머신사이트</a></p><p><br/></p><p>The lottery continues to review application materials for three proposed casinos in Danville, Norfolk and Portsmouth.
