We Do: Partner Practice (This is similar to a think pair share, except scholars work together to actually complete reading and writing practice)
5. Showcall (project a scholar's work and critique it as a class)
6. Independent Practice w/ Aggressive Monitoring (giving short visual/verbal feedback as sholars are working; I usually add a check if they are totally correct, a dot if they're on the write track, and circle items they need to come back to).
7. Visuals
8. Sentence Frames (although I have mixed feelings about this one -- I like it when we come up with sentence frames as a class, as opposed to me just providing them)
9. Flipped Classroom (this one is certainly one of my top strategies)
10. Differentiated Instruction
