- Koinonia's Partnership Housing Program built their first home for Beau and Emma and their 5 children, who had been living in an unpainted, uninsulated shack with no plumbing. Their new home had a modern kitchen, indoor bathroom, and heating system.

- In 1973, the Fullers took the concept, Fund for Humanity, to Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo. They worked there for 3 years to establish the program.
