         <title>Measuring slope gradient and distance from shoreline</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We need 2 ranging poles to measure slope gradient.<br>We measure the distance from shoreline using a measuring tape.&nbsp;<br>As the slope does not have distinct slope breaks, so we have decided to measure the slope gradient at 2 metres intervals. So the distance between 2 rangings poles is 2 metres. Then we move the poles up the slope subsequently to measure the entire slope profile.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Beach Sediments</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sediments collected at different sections of the beach. We were taught by our Tutor to collect them with some huge leaves around the beach. This is resourceful and environmental friendly. We then return them to the nature after our analysis, without polluting our environment. - This is how Geographers should be!<br>We put a 10 cents coin on the sediments, so that we will have an idea of the actual size of the sediments when looking at the photos.</div>]]></description>
