genZ mockery on important issues- Rihab and Diya

While tough times rise upon the world as a whole, genZ constantly take the time to make anything and everything into a joke and this must stop. They must understand the impact of certain social issues and only one example of this is the Russia Ukraine war where they post videos mainly on tiktok mocking the situation. Humor in times of crisis is important as it can be seen as motivational but there is always a boundary. And now this boundary has been crossed. There are people dying, torn away from shelter as they lack the basic necessities , children ripped away from their parents, wives watching their husband endanger their lives in times of war with the uncertainty of their return. Imagine the anticipation of waiting for them to return and hoping to reunite their families again. People in one part of the world are trapped in a hellish nightmare and they rest upload videos mocking the gory battlefield. This is the sad reality of the world... the sufferings of thousands of people pushed aside by the number of likes on a video which is deemed to be more important.

1- Sexism is a man screaming he has better temperament than a woman who has been patiently waiting to speak after being interrupted 10 times.

4- we live in a society where girls are told to have an ambition, but can't pursue it too intensely... to be successful, but not too successful, for then they'll threaten men.

3- The social stigmas and beliefs that have been running deeply in the veins of all families make women unequal to men.

2- Women are considered to be a burden by many families and are not provided with the same rights men enjoy in society. We are ill-informed regarding women’s rights and tend to continue age-old practices

5- the word is rather associated with uncomfort. Why? its rather a need for women to be involved in decisions and policies that will affect my life. But sadly, that is never considered. A basic expectation left unmet.

World hunger- Mohammad Mustafa, Haala, Libonge Sonjani.

What do you think of world hunger? is it good? Is it bad? Well, obviously it's bad, but what can you do about it? you all just sit there in your fancy seats, not a care in the world when there's people out there suffering daily wondering if they will get food to eat before they sleep. Did you know 690 million are malnourished, hundreds of people die everyday due to hunger. 3.1 million people die EVERY YEAR!!! This can be fixed if we all put our differences aside and think about the people of Yemen, DRC, Angola, South Sudan and people in many other countries where poverty is a big issue. I get it. WE can't control everything. We are merely just pawns being played by the world leaders. At most we can try and convey messages to people around the world with our huge followings. we can put the money where it will be used correctly, not in our bank where it's getting devalued over time. We need to express our feelings and motives to the leaders of our beloved country and solve this crisis before it gets worse. We all take food for granted. Maybe it's time for you to actually take action and not just post and khalas. Job done.

Are we really going to let the earth burn, let the oceans to rise or intensify poverty? It is a shame that some of us could care less about the destruction and decimation of our world. We have created the most flamboyant and astonishing creations that have changed the face of mankind. The problem, we don’t seem to care about what it is doing to humanity. The lack of empathy, the lack of care and the lack of knowledge just puts me in a state of shock and anger. This is not who we are, this is not what we do, we cannot let this persist any further. The only way we can close a chapter in a book of problems in this world is if we work together in harmony and fill out each other’s weaknesses in any way to ensure we build upon ruins to for the betterment of future generations.

AS THEY ARE MOSTLY SUGGESTED BY MY FRIENDS OF FAMILY, THE IDEALISTIC JOB IS TO GO FOR A JOB THAT IS HIGH IN DEMAND. WE WOULD REGRET TAKING OTHERS SUGGESTIONS OTHER THAN REGRETTING IN TAKING A JOB THAT WE DONT WANT, I STUDIED MEDICINE AND THROUGH OUT THOSE DREADFUL YEARS I REGRETTED THE AGONIZING FEELING THAT THIS WAS WHAT THE REST OF MY LIFE IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE? COULD I HAVE DONE BETTER? OR COULD I HAVE BECOME SOMTHING THAT WOULD HAVE BRAUGHT ME MORE JOY WITHOUT THE AGONIZING QUESTIONS OF MY REALITY

All from the comfort of our own home, being blessed enough not to have to experience a new terror each day.
Yes, it's true that we can't do much about such issues from afar but it would be wrong to say that there is nothing we can do.

How many of you have heard of the fire at Notre Dame?
For the people that don’t know, it occurred on the 15th of April, the news spread like wildfire. Billions of people donated billions of dollars solely for the preservation of history.

But what about our future?

In the same year, only in th beginning there was a wildfire on Amazon- not the metaphorical one. This fire burnt 2.24 million acres of land approximately, yet the funds bought in donation merely sufficed its damages. It took three weeks for the world to notice, but Notre Dame’s unfortunate events reached everyone’s ears- or phones within minutes or even seconds for some.
