Toes wrapped snug beneath soft covers,
My daughter, still dreaming, her eyes closed tight,
Sipping warm coffee and tea to start the day,


Cuddled together, we bask in the warmth,
Hot chocolate awaits when the sun dips low,
Hiding behind the Brooklyn Bridge’s glow.


Warm winter is coming, and we all feel its embrace,
As leaves put on their coats of deep, rich brown,
My husband puts on his thick, cozy socks,


We gather close, sharing laughter and love,
In this season of warmth, together we thrive,
Wrapped in each other, we come alive.
