If you do steal someone else's work from the internet, for example lets say music, this can really hurt somene's career by them not being able to earn money from THEIR music and make a living. Their talent and original ideas would be stolen and they would proboably be under fire with the media who already invades into peoples lives to much anyways.

Well first, you may want to remeber the word Attribution. "Attribution is giving credit to the person who create the work." (21things4kids.com) If you're doing a project for school, use copyright free photos or photos that are in the public domain (photos and such in the public domain have don't have copyrights and if they did they have expired, expressly waved, or been forfeited) so you don't have to site credits. But if you get a picture from google, make sure you use a website like knightsite to cite your sources for a picture or quote that is not yours. And if you're not sure if something may have copyright, ask an adult or just go ahead and cite sources.
