The ecological crisis comes from treating the land as a production machine. If we just look at the present, we can see how we are slowly destroying planet earth and doing nothing to change. 
As human beings and the only species with reasoning, we must change our attitude towards planet Earth. Since erosion, pollution and deforestation problems are human-caused. We must change our vision in front of our planet earth, we must learn to care for and value natural resources, since it is the only planet in the universe that provides us with oxygen, water and food. 
This is really extractive and harmful not only for people but also for the environment and the economy. We go to very deep waters if we do not change with the Earth.
