This is one of the street foods that is impossible to resist and that we people from the capital love. The combination of saores and textures makes the "dog" cupcakes, as they are popularly known, one of the favorite sweets.
Why the name of dog cupcakes?
The grandmothers say that this name comes from the filling of the cake, because in the 60s and 70s the food that was given to the dogs was the leftovers from lunch, which was usually rice, meat and potatoes, just the filled with such a coveted sweet.
