The perpetrator I think was most of the people around her, calling her the n word. Nobody stand up for the Oprah, except the upstanders who decided to publish this video, and did a record of her perspective toward this issue. First, “In 1934, the Professional Golfers' Association, or PGA, made a rule that the association was only for white people.”,but there are many people who have different race than white, who like to play golf, “During the 1940s and 1950s, black male golfers tried to get the rule changed”, you can see that people who got discriminated want right too. Second, “But in the years before that, African-American men found ways to play the game outside of the PGA.”, this quote from the text actually tells us that they can find ways to do things that they like. Finally, “She walked in, placed her money on the table, and said she would be playing there today. ‘My tax dollars are taking care of the big course" she is believed to have said, "and there is no way you can bar me from it.’ She said they could call the police if they had a problem with her playing. And with that, she went off to play.”, she is Ann Gregory, who really like to play golf, and don’t care what will happen to her because the big coarse, black people weren't allowed she have no fear toward what gonna happened to her. In conclusion, you don’t have to be horrified for finding ways for things that you like.
