Interphase - Cell grows
Prophase 1 - Nuclear envelope deforms. Spindle fibers and centrioles appear. Chromosomes pair with their homologous partners/ Chromosomes "cross-over" and trade portions of chromatids.
Metaphase 1 - Spindle fibers attach to centromeres. Homologous chromosomes line up in pairs across the cell's equator.
Anaphase 1 - Spindle fibers pull chromosome pairs apart. Chromosomes move to the opposite ends of the cells
Telophase 1 - Spindle fibers disappear. Nuclear envelope reforms. Cell cleavage forms.
Cytokenisis - Cells splits apart and immediately starts Meiosis 2.
