         <description><![CDATA[<p>Kahoot is an online gamified experience. Teachers can create quizzes or search a library of premade quizzes. Games make the learning experience more engaging. </p><p><br/></p><p>This tool can be used for reviewing material or even as a form of assessment. The games allow for friendly competition and it gets even students that are usually unmotivated to participate. Images can be added to the quizzes to differentiate instruction for those that need visuals. Teachers can create quizzes or choose from a library. </p><p><br/></p><p>With this tool, teachers can host a game or assign them to students to complete on their own. Quizzes can be quick review or even used as formative assessments. Lessons can be easily differentiated by making them game-like, live, and even student-paced. This app can be used as an assessment tool that allows students to show their knowledge in multiple ways.</p><p><br/></p><p>This tool can be used for formative assessments by creating standards based exit slips. Students can then show their knowledge of the content matter by recording their voice, drawing pictures, typing in text boxes, and even adding pictures. Teacher can record directions and set time limits and due dates. They would then add students to the classroom. Teachers can upload rubrics, personalize learning for individual students, and even add other EdTech tools right into the classroom. Go Noodle allows you to make a free account. Once you set up the account, you have access to lots of videos that range from 1-20 minutes. You are able to search for different topics or just play videos that catch your eye. Using brain breaks is great to allows students the time and space to get their brains refocused on material. They take the time away from content and come back ready to learn.
