Island nations tend to have more dense populations because they have limited arable land. We could predict that countries with large land size tend to have less density issue (overall). North Korea authoritarian gov’t has lead to its homogenous population.Australia’s and Japan’s historic isolation have created homogenous populations. While many island, Indonesia is very heterogenous most likely to the amount of geographic space the region covers. Like China, Japan may or may not have population controls limiting their growth because their population is declining. Indonesia and Vietnam are developing nations because they have triangle shaped pyramids which means they are in Stage 2 / 3 of the DTM. Korea will likely have some economic issue related to population as they will run of workers in 50 years.

They also have a high urban rate which is free because they can go to work easily with very high internet use. Vietnam is a communism They have a very high water source which means the government doesn’t control the resources. Though they have a low GDP which means the government controls the income. All media is run by the government in North Korea. Indonesia has mostly free and fair elections. Despite corruption problems, the South Korean government is very stable. Freedoms in Indonesia are in jeopardy. South Korea is better off than North Korea. US are more friendly to Japan.Japan and the U.S. are similar.
