One interesting thing I learned from this week's lecture is how each of our senses goes through many processes in our brain, especially when something is unfamiliar and noticing it instantly. Still, as it continuously does, we'll let it slide and not bother to know what it is, for instance, train horns at first, I wondered where it was coming from, then when I knew where it was, I didn't bother and sometimes I would expect it at a specific time.

One interesting thing I learned from this week's lecture is the driven to distraction. I found out how each drivers with different kinds of distractions affect the focus of a driver, even as simple as talking to someone lowers the performance of drivers. For instance, they wouldn't notice their speed or they would miss a turn or exit, worse case scenario, they would have to do an illegal action, leading to accidents. As a new driver, I've learned like what I can do and not do, which is almost everything, like I would have to focus on driving. And it also helped me to be more aware on the road and to be a safe driver.

One interesting thing I learned for this week is the D.A.R.E program. I used to always see those in shirts and never had an idea of what that was, until this week's lecture. It was interesting in a way where we kind of did in high school, but not that program, instead it was about bullies. It had the same effect where the original intend was to prevent bullies, but got even more once they got more information and it didn't have any purpose for it to be there at first.

One interesting thing I learned for this week's lecture are mental images and mental models. With mental images, I noticed that if the image is bigger, it would take longer to process, until you're satisfied and comfortably know what and where things would be. On the other hand, mental models is where if you're used to one thing and transition from another, it takes time to get used to, but while the process of it, you notice the small details, such as the direction of the door opening, the layout of the house, or the streets of the neighborhoods.

One interesting thing that I learned from this week's lecture is how people approach on the same situation, but with different people. Seeing the same scenario, but with different people doing it, shows how unfair the society be. Just because the person is different doesn't mean the treatment would be different, especially on the video shown where the black person was not only being honest that the bike wasn't his, but the people gathered around and some people called the police. But when it comes the girl, the other person tried to help her to get the bike off. It's unfair where in this society that some people are not treated fairly and would be judging based on how they are.

One interesting thing I learned from last week is the differences of Psychodynamic Perspective, such as Id, Ego, and Superego. Id is about seeking pleasure and avoiding pain. Ego is about the thinking element of personality and Superego is moral judge, whether it knows the right or wrong.

One interesting thing I learned from this week's lecture is the Erikson's Theory. I found the stages of human development very interesting where I never thought of, for instance identity vs identity confusion. I never realized where I would sometimes confuse myself of what am I or what I should do, either what others believe or what I believe.

One interesting thing I learned from this week's lecture is the higher chance of men having heart attacks than women from depression. It's shocking that with the same level of stress and depression that men have higher chances of risks. And also where children's are diagnosed with depression because of their lifestyle to be more likely obese and inactive.
