         <description><![CDATA[<div>Raspberries are planted in either an open field or a high tunnel. Raspberries are grown on solid rows of canes planted roughly 24 inches apart. Trickle irrigation is used to distribute more water and nutrients to the roots in order to not wet the plants themselves. Pests are kept off of the plants using a variety of methods such as pesticides, crop rotation, correct field selection, and trying not to grow diseased plants.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
