while delivering a fantastic product or service is your top priority, you can think of a logo as a support system

reasons why logos are important

1. It gives your company an identity The famous designer Paul Rand wrote, “a logo doesn’t sell (directly), it identifies.” the number one purpose a logo serves is to
give your business (or organization, group,
team, etc.) an identity.
2.It makes your brand stickier A distinctive logo makes your brand (and business) easier to recall because humans are wired to identify images and use them to derive meaning and stories.
3.It communicates professionalism and builds trustBefore a person tries your product or service, they assess appearance. Think about if you visit a mediocre website or get handed a business card that looks dated. It doesn’t instil trust or confidence, does it? You’re probably not going to jump to purchase something or contact someone for more information.

LOGOS

What are logos?

Logos are a way to represent a company so that they can be recognized. Logos are created to be easily acknowledge by others, such logos could be McDonalds, Nike and Addidas. Logos could be images, texts, shapes, a could be a combination of all three.

What are the various types of logos?

There are 3 main types of logos. A wordmark logo is made up of one or two words, without any depiction. A lettermark logo consists of only a letter, that symbolizes a word, for example, M for McDonalds. The last type contains only a symbol(s), for example the Nike swish.
What makes a good logo?

A good logo should be attractive, and eye catching. Simple, colorful logos are a good way to catch attention. But what is more important than the logo itself, is the meaning that can be poured into it. For example, the Nike swish looks like nothing, but the meaning makes it a very well-known logo.
