This bulletin board is in all classrooms at the school I intern at. It is a school wide procedure that is used for managing classroom behaviors. Classes can earn a dog bone from other teachers around campus for following BARK expectations. This helps students follow school rules & expectations. Students also have to work together as a class to earn dog bones which shows students how to work as a team. The school mascot is a bulldog which is where the BARK expectations & dog bones come from. I would use this in my future classroom. Depending on the school that I teach at I would change it slightly. I would still use it as a classroom reward system so students can work together to earn rewards. I would do a weekly or monthly reward if students earned all the pieces.

I chose this classroom management tool because I liked how it wasn’t only negative but also has a positive impact for students. I’ve seen this classroom management tool used in.a few schools, this one goes along with the school mascot bulldogs as well. I would use this in my future classroom the same way. I would use the brags for students who show kindness, pride in their work or are making great improvement in behavior or academics.this can also be used as something students try to earn when they are working towards a goal.

This photo is worthy because how students interact & where they sit in the classroom make a big impact on classroom management. With a seating arrangement students know what is expected & where to sit when they met enter the classroom. It allows for student collaboration when they are in pairs or groups. I would use a seating chart in my future classroom. This allows for students to be equally seated whither high & low students so they can collaborate effectively. It also causes less disruptive a during the day when teachers use a seating chart & place students who work well together next to one another. It’s also important to keep students who are comfortable with each other at separate group tables.

This is my favorite resource picture that I took in my collaborating classroom. I really like the organized structure of the learning targets. Having learning targets posted in important for not only admin entering the classroom but also so students can be aware of the learning targets. This bulletin board display is n easy & convenient way to quickly change & post the learning targets each day. I will definitely be using this in my future classroom. I have seen teachers just write the standards or learning targets each day on the white board & this bulletin board is way less time consuming. I will create a bulletin board to hang up daily learning targets or standards for each subject.

This is another favorite! My collaborating teacher uses this to organize papers for the week. All the copies & papers that students will use each day of the week go in the corresponding bin. This is a quick & easy way to grab what is needed to papers passed out to students. This helps with organization & classroom management because the teacher doesn't have to look for any papers, they are all in one spot ready to go. I will be using this in my future classroom the same way with the drawers labeled with the days of the week & all my papers ready for students for the week. I love this organization cart.

This is the math anchor chart on display, my collaborating teacher has a bulletin board for each subject. This picture was worthy of capturing because anchor charts are beneficial to all students. It provides students a visual of what they are working on in each subject & gives them a reference. I really like how my collaborating teacher has a space for each subject area to have an anchor chart. I will be using this in my future classroom. Students need anchor charts & this is a simple way to display them in the classroom.
