They were a young family with two small kids, yet they answered the call to open their doors and hearts to dozens of children who needed a mother and father.

The best feeling in the world was arriving at Asha Mission and being greeted by everyone. Sosi was always there with a huge smile and warm welcome.

Sweet Aunty Sosi! Your smile lit up whatever space you were in. You loved and cared for so many people. You were graceful and elegant in such unassuming ways. You were humble and kind. We will always cherish the wonderful visits we had with Sosi and her precious family. She welcomed us into her home and treated us as family. Her devotion to God was inspiring to everyone who knew her. And she was a loving wife and mother to all. We will miss her greatly.

My heart is broken. . .

I am having a hard time recovering from this loss – my heart is broken.

Sister Sosi always made us feel welcome whenever we came. She always helped us, served us, and even made purchases of clothing especially for our family.

I love the way she took care of not only her children, but all those in the home as well as those who visited. I especially remember how well she took care of Asha and Ashish (two children that were given up by their mother at birth and had never known a home other than Asha).

Sosi always loved trying new Indian recipes.

I am praying for Dafodil, Enoch, and Brother Sarma.

We will always be here in a time of need.

My heart breaks, but it is splendid to know that some day I will see her again in Heaven
