A younger girl from Falls Church Massachusets was accused of killing her step-mom and father with a hatchet. Lizzie was he only one then accused because of the fact that her sister Emma was away and her and the maid were the only ones in the house. She was said to not be the killer, but I am not so sure.

I believe that Lizzie Borden did kill her parents for the inheritance.

Evidence to back up my theory that Lizzie Borden killed her parents for the inheritance is she very clearly stated many times that she wanted a better life living on the hill with her sister.

Lizzie also did not like how cheap her father was and wished for a better life because they did not have much in their life even though they were rich.

Honestly she stated multiple times just how much she wanted more money and such and then these murders happened so it is just that obvious.

Another theory that is a possibility of something that could have happened would be that the uncle could have killed them.

This is not possible because of the fact that many sources have clearly stated that it was just Lizzie and the maid in the house at the time of the murder. There were also no signs of a break in.

During this I learned that many women were "not able" to commit murder at this time and that is why they just turned Lizzie out with out any thought of her having done the crime.
